Alpha Hydroxy Range

The Alpha-Hydroxy range is based on gentle, non-toxic Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) that assist in softening and smoothing the skin. The range also assists the natural exfoliating function, leading to a smoother skin with greater resilience and finer texture, whilst replenishing the skin’s natural acidity. Skin becomes accustomed to AHAs by gradually adapting from milder to higher concentrations.

The Alpha Hydroxy Toners are an essential step in promoting the natural acid mantle of the skin and assisting the penetration of the Environ® Original, Ionzyme or Alpha preparations. They remove residual cleanser and help to firm and refine the appearance of the skin.

The Alpha Hydroxy Creams and Gel are specifically designed for congested, and mature, photo-aged skin. Not recommended for young healthy skin. Other than the Alpha Toners and the Alpha Day Lotion SPF15, all Alpha Hydroxy products should be used at night only.

AHAs also help to replenish the skin’s natural acidity, preventing a build-up of bacteria which can cause blemishes. They support cell regeneration.

When using Alpha Hydroxy Acid products, even when the product is used at night only, use a sunscreen of at least SPF15 every day.

Alpha Toner Mild

Contains mild levels of AHAs, indicated for normal or combination skin. Available in either a 100ml size or a 200ml size PET plastic bottle that helps to protect the active ingredients from light. Shelf life - Twenty-four (24) months unopened. Should be used within 6-8 weeks after opening.

Alpha Toner Forte

A concentrated toner recommended for oily and congested skin and when maximum levels of AHAs are required. Available in either a 100ml size or a 200ml size PET plastic bottle that helps to protect the active ingredients from light. Shelf life - Twenty-four (24) months unopened. Should be used within 6-8 weeks after opening.

Alpha Cream Mild

Contains medium levels of AHAs for sun damaged skin. May also be used on sensitive skin. Packaged in a 50ml plastic tube. Shelf life - Twenty-four (24) months unopened. Should be used within 6-8 weeks after opening.

Alpha Cream Forte

Contains maximum levels of AHAs and is specifically recommended for mature, rough and sun-damaged skin. Use only once the skin has become accustomed to the Alpha Cream Mild. Packaged in a 50ml plastic tube. Shelf life - Twenty-four (24) months unopened. Should be used within 6-8 weeks after opening.

Alpha Gel

A gel-based preparation containing maximum levels of AHAs for congested skin. Use only once the skin has become accustomed to the Alpha Cream Mild. Packaged in a 50ml plastic tube. Shelf life - Twenty-four (24) months unopened. Should be used within 6-8 weeks after opening.

Alpha Day Lotion

Intended for hyper-pigmented skin. Contains medium levels of AHAs and a sun protection factor (SPF15). Packaged in a 100ml plastic tube. Shelf life - Twenty-four (24) months unopened. Should be used within 6-8 weeks after opening.

Derma-Lac Lotion

Excellent for smoothing body skin and treating rough, dry skin on areas such as feet, elbows and knees. It can also be used for sun-damaged or congested skin on all areas of the body. Use in conjunction with Environ ® Original Body Cream or EssentiA Oil for optimal results.
