Healing time varies depending on the intensity of treatment. Immediately following the treatment the treated area may appear as a red discolouration, oedematous (swelling) which may last up to 2 hours or longer, possible tightness and tender to the touch, all of which is normal. You may continue your normal skin regimen following the treatment. Make up can be worn providing there is no blistering. Calling the office in the event of blistering is recommended as improper care of the treated area may increase the chance of scarring or skin texture changes.
