Pre Care

Cease Aspirin, Vitamin E or “blood thinning” drugs one week before your appointment.

Do not shave your legs or use skin creams for two days before your appointment.

If you like, bring shorts to war during the procedure and slacks to wear afterwards.

Post Care

Special surgical graduated compression pantihose will be worn immediately after treatment and continuously for 48 hours, then the pantihose are worn only during the day, as soon as you get up, until you go to bed at night. Continue wearing them during the day for two-three weeks.

Walk for thirty minutes immediately after the injections and walk for at least an hour every day for at least two weeks. Walking is important to encourage blood flow through other healthy vessels.

Avoid standing for long periods.

If your legs are painful, walk more.

Most people will be check two-four weeks after initial treatment but fading vessels may take several weeks before it is obvious. A second treatment is usually done two months later.
