Avoid unprescribed aspirin-based products for 48hrs post injection [paracetamol-type products are preferable]

Avoid oily-based or "intensive", "age-defying" make-up products for 24-48 hours post injection [these can block the puncture and cause a small infection]

"AHA" products are best avoided for 24 hours as they may cause discomfort

Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive alcohol consumption 24-48 hours post injection [may lead to increase bruising]

Do apply gently massage over the treated areas evening and morning for 3 to 4 days post treatment [ensure hands are clean prior to touching the injected areas]. This is best done during the cleansing or moisturizing routine. Check again over ther next week.

Remember to massage the Derma Filler S "into" the tissues, not "out" of the tissues.

If you feel any lumps [of fluid-like collections] simple "pin-point" massage is generally the only treatment needed. Do ensure that the lump is massaged out. Early massage is the best treatment in preventing lumps or nodules.

REMEMBER: it may take 4 to 6 weeks to begin to see a difference. Your before and after photos will be an important part of this assessment when you attend your review appointment. The Derma filler S treatment is based on a minimum of two-treatment programme.
