Pellevé Skin Firming
- Skin firming and plumping
- The perfect 'red carpet ready' treatment before a special event
What Is Pellevé?
Pellevé is a new innovation for smoother, tighter skin leaving you looking and feeling refreshed.
Using radiofrequency technology to heat the skin, Pellevé causes collagen fibres to contract, reducing skin laxity and tightening the skin. It is a non-invasive, painless treatment with no downtime.
How Does Pellevé Work?
Pellevé precisely heats the deep layers of your skin using advanced radiowave technology without damaging the epidermis, or top layer. The heat causes the collagen in your skin to contract and tighten. After the treatment you will experience an improvement in skin quality, firmness and tightness that you can see and feel.
What Are The Benefits Of Pellevé?
Pellevé can be used to tighten the skin including:
- Sagging skin under the eyes
- Nasolabial folds
- Wrinkles around the mouth
- Lines or folds between the eyebrows
- Lines on the forehead
- Excess skin on the upper eyelid
- Crows feet
- Tired or unhappy expression
- The small handpiece is ideal for use around the delicate eye and lip areas
- Pellevé is suitable for all skin types and tones
What Are The Risks Of Pellevé?
Pellevé does not affect the outer layers of the skin, so there are minimal side effects or risks. There may be some mild swelling or redness after your Pellevé procedure, which will subside within 24 hours.
Pellevé is safe during breastfeeding but is not recommended during pregnancy due to the radiowave technology.
How Many Pellevé Treatments Will I Need?
A single treatment will leave the skin noticeably firmer and the results continue to improve. Best results come from a series of 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
What Happens During My Pellevé Treatment?
You will feel a deep warming sensation each time the Pellevé handpiece touches the area being treated. Because no anaesthetic is required, you’ll be able to describe the depth of the feeling to your practitioner, which will help to ensure the best possible results.
Your Pellevé procedure will typically take about 45 minutes for a full face. Because Pellevé doesn’t require anaesthesia or downtime, it fits easily into your busy schedule.
Is Pellevé Painful?
During the Pellevé treatment the area may feel hot, similar to that of mild sunburn.
What Can I Expect After My Pellevé Treatment?
Your skin will look and feel immediately plumper and fine lines will have noticeably reduced.
What Precautions Should I Take Pre And Post Treatment?
There are no special requirements for Pellevé. You can apply makeup, exercise and bathe as usual after your treatment.
We always recommend the use of sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above should be used daily. If you are under the sun for prolonged periods of time, sunscreen needs to be reapplied at least once every two hours.
Whilst we have seen amazing results from Pellevé, please know that results vary and we cannot make guarantees. We recommend coming and speaking to our registered nurses for an in-depth consultation. They will discuss in detail how Pellevé works, whether it will be right for your skin type and the expected results in line with your skin goals.
