What Is The HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial is a medical grade skin resurfacing treatment suitable for all skin types. It combines a deep clean and exfoliation, extractions and a hydrating, antioxidant rejuvenation for instantly brighter, cleaner and clearer skin.
Promoting long-term skin health benefits, the HydraFacial effectively and painlessly removes blackheads and whiteheads to improve acne-prone, oily or congested skins. It also removes dead surface cells and provides intense hydration for ageing, dull or dehydrated skins.
New LED Add-On
A new addition to the HydraFacial treatment, we are now offering Blue or Red LED treatments for $75. Blue Light LED targets and kills bacteria in the skin that causes acne. It helps reduce sebaceous activity leading to increased oiliness into the skin. Red Light LED stimulates cellular activity, including fibroblasts which produce collagen. Great for calming and healing the skin and stimulating collagen.
How Does The HydraFacial Work?
Using a patented spiral tip, the HydraFacial simultaneously exfoliates, clears blocked pores and infuses nourishing serums with a unique suction technique for maximum penetration. It is an all in one medi-clean treatment, making it quick and efficient, completed within half an hour.
What Are The Benefits Of The HydraFacial?
- Offers instant and noticeable results with no downtime or discomfort.
- Exfoliates dead skin cells & extracts impurities while simultaneously restoring skin hydration, leaving skin more supple & vibrant.
- Uses three different skin serums targeted to your individual concerns for the ultimate in hydration and skin rejuvenation.
- Unclogs pores and creates brighter, cleaner and clearer skin.
- Can be customised to suit your needs, including during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
What Are The Risks Of The HydraFacial?
Some clients may experience redness from the suction during the treatment but this will subside within a few hours.
How Many HydraFacial Treatments Will I Need?
The HydraFacial works in a single treatment – your skin will be noticeably cleaner and softer. We recommend one HydraFacial every 2-3 months to keep the pores clear and to promote long term skin health.
What Happens During My HydraFacial Treatment?
The HydraFacial is performed as a multi-step treatment. First, there is a deep cleanse and exfoliation to remove dead skin cells which includes Salicylic and Glycolic acid to prepare the pores. This is followed by a painless extraction of blackheads and whiteheads and the final step offers rehydration where hyaluronic, peptides and an infusion of antioxidants and essential nutrients is suctioned back into the skin for better penetration. The whole treatment takes 30 minutes.
Is The HydraFacial Painful?
You may experience a tingling or tightening sensation in the skin with a little bit of heat, but no pain.
What Can I Expect After My HydraFacial?
You may experience slight redness for up to 30 minutes following the treatment, similar to that after a workout. Otherwise you will notice instantly fresher, dewy, clear and glowing skin.
What Precautions Should I Take Pre And Post Treatment?
There are no special requirements for the HydraFacial. You can apply makeup, exercise and bathe as usual after your treatment. Unfortunately, HydraFacial is not suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have known shellfish allergies.
We always recommend the use of sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above should be used daily. If you are under the sun for prolonged periods of time, sunscreen needs to be reapplied at least once every two hours.
Whilst we have seen amazing results from this treatment, please know that results vary and we cannot make guarantees. We recommend coming and speaking to our registered nurses for an in-depth consultation. They will discuss in detail how the treatment works, whether it will be right for your skin type and the expected results in line with your skin goals.
